Your journey begins with a scenic train ride from Nairobi, winding through the picturesque landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and lush countryside before reaching the coastal town of Mombasa. From there, a short transfer takes you to Diani Beach, where you’ll spend the next four days indulging in sun, sand, and sea.
During your stay in Diani, unwind on the pristine white-sand beaches, swim in the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, and partake in water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, or kite surfing. Explore the vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, or simply relax under the swaying palm trees with a refreshing drink in hand.
For a taste of local culture, venture into the nearby villages to experience Swahili hospitality and sample authentic coastal cuisine at beachside restaurants. You can also opt for excursions to nearby attractions like Shimba Hills National Reserve or visit the historic sites of Mombasa’s Old Town.

Itinerary Detail
This is a holiday mood day to spend at the hotel. Meals and selected drinks are provided. You spend the afternoon by the award winning Diani Beach.
Our driver will pick you up from the hotel at 07.30 a.m and drive you to Shimoni Jetty. Arrive at Shimoni Jet where you will board an Arabic dhow and sail for one hour searching for dolphins. Sail to Kisite Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim. You will have your lunch at the island which is mainly sea food and Swahili dishes.(If you don’t take sea food, other meals can be arranged for you) After lunch, you will sail along the mangrove swamps and then visit the Wasini Island where you will learn more about the Swahili people and the Arabs history. Visit the Shimoni Slave Caves. This is where slaves were “stored” before being shipped off to Arabia in the early 18th century. This is where in the 10th century, Arabs were slave traders and they used to inter marry with the Bantus at the coast and there we had the Swahili people. After the end of the slave trade in the 17th century, many Africans settled here and so don’t miss the opportunity to learn about the Swahili people. Arrive at the jet at around 4.00 pm thereafter drive back to the hotel.
